Here is a lovely vintage prehnite stone from the Lake Superior region sometime in the 1950s most likely. It is in average condition with noticeable flaws and cracks, yet still really translucent and beautiful light spring green color. The wire wrap is aqua / teal color metal.
It is on a double-knotted black leather cord that can be shortened to more of a choker-style length by pulling on the cord ends, or to a length in the middle somewhere. If you decide to wear it the shorter way, I’d recommend trimming off the leather ends to a quarter inch or so, definitely not shorter. I’ve left them long now because it makes adjusting the length easier if they are easy to grasp to pull on.
The circumference is about 30″ around. The stone is about .75″ in length, about .6″ at its widest, and just under .25″ at the thickest point Happy to convert it to a regular leather necklace with a lobster clasp – just drop a note with your order, including your preferred length (up to 26″ at no additional charge).
