This is a small vintage snowflake obsidian free form cabochon about .6″ in length and .5″ across at it’s widest point at the bottom. This piece has a large swath of pure black on top with white inclusions of cristobalite on the bottom corner that are visible and large in size.
There is a noticeable flaw on one side but the front is in beautiful condition. For other snowflake obsidian necklaces please see my Etsy store.
It’s on a 18.5″ leather necklace with silver and silver tone findings.
This is from an old stock of stones collected between the 1950s – 70s around the Lake Superior region where there is native snowflake obsidian.
